So there were these French guys I served at the airport the other day. I waited for them to decide on their order, and while they were deciding, one of them started dancing to the Starbucks music. It was funny. Eventually he went to order.

It was his friend who took the entertainment cake though. Before he ordered, he put his hat over his face, then lowered it so that he could order. Every time he didn’t speak, he was hiding behind his hat. I kinda giggled at him and just punched in their orders in the computer. His friend back-handed his stomach and told him to cut it out in french I think.

But the guy kept hiding behind his hat and basically playing peek-a-boo with me, but I kinda ignored him because I didn’t know how to react. And then suddenly he said, “My name is Max!”

I looked at him all surprised and couldn’t help but respond with, “Hi Max! My name is Jahziel.” and showed him my name tag, and we exchanged enthusiastic ‘Nice to meet you’s before I went to make their drinks cuz I didn’t know what else to do lmao.

Even when I was making their drinks, this Max guy hid behind a wall by the shelf where I put the drinks and kinda peeked at me, eyes parallel to the corner of the wall. I pretended not to see him cuz I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into haha. I silently told my co-workers I had no idea what was happening, but I was highly amused.

Eventually I got their drinks and the Max guy was all “Thank you, thank you, J…?”

“Jahziel.” I pointed at my name tag. He kinda nodded like “Oh,” and we exchanged more enthusiastic ‘nice-to-meet-you’s before I turned around to distract myself with cleaning until the french guys left LOL. HOW DO YOU REACT TO THOSE THINGS? WAS THE GUY BORED OR WAS HE LEGITIMATELY INTERSTED? IDK LOL BUT IT WAS FUNNY WHEN IT HAPPENED.

Also, they had French accents and it was kinda cute.

That was the highlight of my day yesterday. : 3 Now I gotta make food for youngins.
